It'd be good if some credible, mainstream people started discussing the dangers in this report. Again, my main complaint with the Bush administration is that they communicate to the public too little, too late. They could reduce the influence of their critics if they talked to the American people first. Instead of always "defending" his policies, Bush should be promoting them.

Brian -- I agree. Bush knew this report was coming, and he certainly knew what was in it. Why wasn't there some forum through which the White House communicated preparatory information about the report previous to its filing with Congress?
