Fisking Mad Cow Coverage (via Instapundit)

I have just about had it with Mad Cow coverage. Yes, it is a horrible disease. Yes, it is a difficult disease to test for and contain. But, for the love of God, it is a minor risk, and people are making it out to be a Biblical plague. Only about 150 people have caught Creutzfeldt-Jakob syndrome (human form of mad cow) EVER. That is a fraction of how many people die from the flu in a year.

Go out and eat some beef. Don't eat any brains. You will be fine.
