How to Heal Health Care (washingtonpost.com):

We must also cultivate competition: Consumers need to know which doctors or care settings heal patients faster and better

or more cheaply. When gas got too expensive in the 1970's, Japan answered with the Honda. Where is the Honda of health care?

It's good to see Hillary and Frist agreeing on something.

UPDATE: Finally, consumers need information about the price of care. They must be able to compare health care pricing -- with information that is readily, publicly available.

Moral of the story: always finish reading the article before you blog on it.
